Here we go again...

Special raise of the (empty) glass to yet another in the long, proud line of University of Cincinnati players and coaches...young, successful Andy Kennedy following in the footsteps of mentor Bob Huggins and former player Art Long by having a "run in" with Cincinnati police...at least he didn't punch the cabbie in the nose (oh wait he did!)

Thata boy Andy...next round's on me...and I'll drive you home too...wouldn't want you to take a cab.

At least he was using a cab and not driving drunk.....

However, I am not sure you can make fun of UC in this situation since he was fired for being too closely connected with Huggins, maybe Nancy was on to something (eventhough I still hate her).

But on a different note isn't it about time to lose the Xavier holier-than-thou routine. That was all well and good when X was terrible and beating UC when we were #1 and making fun of UC being thugs was the only redeeming thing about your program, but now that X is a legit title contender isn't it time to move on.

I mean you can't look at X's roster and tell me they are all angels, look at the giant white kid from massilon, you mean to tell me he has never called someone who looks foreign Osama before.....

In the words of Conner Barwin: "if Xaver had a football team we [UC] would kick their ass!"

By the way, I am not defending Andy Kennedy, if he did what they say he did he deserves whatever punishment he gets. Getting drunk is no excuse for being an idiot.

I agree with Flip. Xavier is sacrificing their reputation as the alter boys of Cincinnati for a higher profile programs. In recent years, there has been Dedrick Finn (in jail for dealing drugs), the taking in of Drew Lavender and now the taking in of Jordan Crawford (in light of the rampant drug use rumors swirling out of IU).

Don't get me wrong, UC's track record makes them head and shoulders above anything XU has or ever will do, but XU is certainly changing from where their perception was last decade.

Everyone knows there is only one true clean program in Greater Cincinnati- Miami!

As a Florida State fan, I can honestly say all you bitches are amateurs.
