It has arrived...

Yeah, okay. I realize this isn't sports related, but who cares...

I saw that the other day, and while I loved the action sequence that takes place in the warehouse where they keep the arc, everything else makes me a bit nervous.

Also, he looks too old. They need to drop his ass in the "way-back" centrifuge.

I too am nervous. Even in just the trailer there is already a lot of computerized stuff. That's what made the old ones so great. It was all plausible (except the tearing a still beating heart from the chest of a living man).

Is Harrison Ford older now older than Sean Connery was when they made the third one?

Gentlemen your fears are legitimate. Sean Connery was 59, Harrison Ford is 66, and Connery didn't really do any major stunts other than lying on moving a tank tread, so unless they work that "Lethal Weapon" punch line of 'I'm getting too old for this' 3 million times then this could be depressing to see our boy floping around like Joe Pa on the sidelines.

But despite all that, I know Lucas and Speilberg and Ford will blow all their competitors in the genre out of the water and show how bad Brendan Frazier and Nicholas Cage really are.

yes that was a 'Mummy' and 'National Treasure' reference, and yes I do own all of those.

The fact that you own "National Treasure" means I'm no longer coming to your wedding.

Also, the thing I'm really afraid of is that they're trying to use the Shia LeBoeuf character as a way to extend the series.

If, at the end of the movie, Indy "passes the hat" on to Shia (who plays his son) I'm going to throw a brick at the screen. Don't get me wrong, he's a good actor, and fun to watch, but as far as I'm concerned, Indy dies with Ford.

And yes, Flipper, I think the entire movie is going to be one long string of "I'm getting to old for this shit" jokes.

National treasure is 2 days worth of lessons plans at the end of the year, don't hate.
